Erick Cloix In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that we remember the passing of Erick Cloix, Co-Founder and late CEO of Companion Spine. His sudden departure on the 29th of March 2025 has left an immense void – both within our company and across the entire spine sector, as well as the spine world itself.

Erick was much more than a visionary leader. He was a builder, an enthusiastic entrepreneur. A man deeply committed to the mission of Companion Spine: transforming the management of spine diseases through innovative, less invasive and reversible solutions of dynamic stabilization. His enlightened leadership, boundless energy, and sense of teamwork made him a pioneer in dynamic lumbar stabilization.

Under his stewardship, Companion Spine achieved significant milestones, establishing itself as a key player in the field of medical technologies dedicated to degenerative spinal diseases. He believed in innovation, excellence, and the strength of a united team to take on the most ambitious challenges.

Beyond his exceptional career, those who had the privilege of working alongside him will remember his humanity, kindness, and determination. He was the true captain of his ship.

In this difficult time, we extend our sincerest thoughts to his family, loved ones, and all those who shared his journey. The entire Companion Spine team stands together, today and in the years to come, to carry forward the vision to which he was so dedicated.
