Understanding degenerative disc disease

As a disc ages or becomes degenerated, it begins to lose water content. This causes the disc to lose its height, and can bring the vertebrae closer together. When this happens, the openings in the spine can narrow and cause nerves to become pinched. This can cause a great deal of pain in your lower back, and even radiating down the legs.

DIAM™ helps maintain
vertebral height

DIAM™ is inserted between the vertebrae, and helps share the load borne by the disc. It also opens the space between vertebrae so nerves have more of their naturally intended room.

Let’s stop just talking about back pain. Let’s do something about it.
